This month, the Managed Services Team from Cluj-Napoca together with David Bone participated in a Japanese cooking class, where everybody learned how to make delicious sushi and teriyaki chicken.
The team event was the organised by our Xoomie, Cristina Ilea.
From Japanese language learning courses, cultural team activities and team cooking courses to business intermediation and coordination of projects that promote the traditional Japanese art, Yamatoya House offers their support as they have direct relations with Japan through the native Japanese managers who run their company.
“I thought that cooking our own dishes instead of just eating out would be amusing and challenging for our team. We had the chance to acquire some interesting skills.
Moreover, the Japanese food is based on low-fat natural ingredients and is considered to be one of the healthiest in the world. The Japanese chef from Yamatoya House was kind enough to introduce us to this marvellous world. However, there’s still a long way to go to become experts.
In the end, we showed that besides Ariba skills, we also have cooking skills. Our sushi and teriyaki chicken were delicious. We were amazed how easy cooking these tasty meals was and we planned to try the recipes again.” – Cristina Ilea
