One of Ireland’s ‘Big Four’ Banks to implement Coupa S2P

by | June 21, 2016

Xoomworks is pleased to announce the signing of one of Ireland’s major commercial banks. The group also has a strong presence in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. Xoomworks has a longstanding relationship with the Bank, and has been chosen as implementation partner for a Coupa Source to Pay solution, with expenses module, for 10,000 users across Ireland and the UK.

The financial group is state owned and one of the so-called “big four” Irish commercial banks, with a leading market share of banking products in the Republic of Ireland. They serve over 1.8 million customers across their personal, business and corporate offerings.

The client’s incumbent, on premise, procurement system has reached the end of its life cycle, and coming to the end of its support by the Software provider. Following the financial crisis, governance has become a key pillar of the bank’s business practices, and as such the visibility and control that the Coupa solution offered were a deciding factor, with the market leading user adoption statistics an added bonus.

“Having personally worked on the implementation of the client’s incumbent system, it is really gratifying to see Xoomworks’ relationship with the client flourish as we continue to be recognised for the value and expertise we provide their organisation.”

Martin Denham, Operations Director Xoomworks

Xoomworks have been providing managed services and development work for the incumbent system for many years, with some of Xoomworks’ current employees working on the original implementation which went live in 2002. As a trusted adviser, Xoomworks helped guide the client in their decision making process, and were invited to be the implementation partner for the new solution.
