Xoomworks has helped construction group Consolis take control of its spending and lay the foundations for strategic sourcing initiatives with Coupa.
Following the acquisition of the group by Bain Capital, it was clear that processes needed to radically change, and a new state-of-the-art solution was required to support standard ways of buying.
Consolis selected Coupa, with Xoomworks as implementation partner, to provide a platform for the significant cultural changes that would be needed. With guidance provided by Xoomworks, Consolis implemented industry-standard processes, and the flexible, easy-to-use system encouraged user adoption. A natural workflow was implemented, from requisitions through approvals, to purchase orders and invoice matching. Approval rules were also tuned to meet the business needs of the organisation, increasing compliance.
With the Coupa solution in place, Consolis has moved from a position of 100% maverick spend to one of tight control. Automation of invoice matching has reduced errors and delays and Coupa’s reporting allows Consolis to explore savings opportunities through aggregating spend and negotiating better terms.
