About the Client
The client is a leading global supplier of packaging solutions for the world’s leading brands. It operates metal and glass manufacturing facilities in 22 countries across 5 continents, employing approximately 23,000+ people.
Challenges
As a company that had largely expanded through acquisitions one of its major challenges was around inheriting multiple legacy ERP systems, most of which were no longer supported. Without modern business technology systems underpinning its processes, it would be difficult for the global packaging business to achieve its rapid growth targets.
One system in particular had become inefficient and out of date and was preventing the organisation from effectively tracking its purchase orders and requisitions, resulting in a heavy administrative workload to match up purchase orders and invoices manually.
The Solution
For a multi-lingual organisation operating across 22 countries Coupa’s ease of use and adaptability was crucial. The transition was made much easier as it had already been deployed in its US division. Following a recommendation from Coupa itself and a visit to Coupa Inspire in London, Xoomworks Procurement was chosen as the implementation partner.
