Meet the Team – Richard Northcote, Senior Solution Consultant

by | October 13, 2021

This month’s meet the team section features Richard Northcote, one of our Senior Solution Consultants based in UK.

Tell us about your journey in Xoomworks.

I have been with Xoomworks for just over 12 months and have enjoyed every step of my journey so far. From getting to grips with the Implementation Methodology, to meeting new people and ultimately guiding some really exciting prospective customers through the SOW process to the point where they are ready and, dare I say, excited to launch their implementation project is one of the most rewarding work experiences.

What do you like most about working at Xoomworks?

The level of support from colleagues at Xoomworks is truly remarkable. We have a “One Team” approach at Xoomworks with a “we are all in this together” culture which is great as we all support one another.

Are there any projects that you are particularly fond of?

This is a really difficult question as each project is unique in its own way, which in itself is great as every project creates different experiences. If I had to pin it down to one then it would have to be the first customer that I managed from initial interest through to contract signature and project kick-off.

Let’s talk about your team. Who are they and what makes them special?

I work with a fantastic team, nothing is ever too much trouble. As I said, we have this “One Team” approach to everything we do at Xoomworks and this is evident every single day. The high level of self-motivation, determination and professionalism in the team is an inspiration.

What are your hobbies? What do you like doing in your free time?

I really enjoy travelling and meeting new people, but unfortunately the pandemic has meant that I haven’t been able to for some time now.

Back in January this year I decided that I wanted to learn to play the piano so as a means of motivating myself to actually learn to play, I bought myself a Baby Grand (Nothing like jumping in at the deep end). Not sure whether it was lockdown boredom or mid-life crisis to be honest but I have really enjoyed learning to play and have spent at least an hour a day every day since January.
