In this month’s Meet the Team section we welcome Joe Ciotkowski, Senior Consultant, who has been involved in different Coupa projects.
Tell us about your time/journey in Xoomworks
I joined Xoomworks 7 years ago and my first projects involved leading training and supplier enablement programs. Since then, I have worked on a wide variety of different projects across many countries, and predominantly work as a Solution Architect supporting the design of eprocurement implementations, or as a Project Manager overseeing the process.
What do you like most about working at Xoomworks?
The culture and the people. There is no rigid hierarchy and everyone helps everyone.
Are there any projects that you are particularly fond of?
Coming from a risk background, the Coupa risk performance management tools are an area I am focusing on and which are increasingly important to clients in the current economic environment. We are seeing more and more demand for risk management on projects and I’m looking forward to developing this further. I also have a particular interest in the projects with a sustainability focus, an often-overlooked aspect of e-procurement implementations.
What are your hobbies? What do you like doing in your free time?
I love to travel to new places, particularly off the beaten track. This year’s travel has been particularly focused on the rather underwhelming trek between our kitchen and living room, but hopefully the next ones are more inspiring!
