Achieving P2P efficiencies, control and spend visibility

The faculties and support functions of the university did not currently have access to P2P technology which would allow them to have more visibility of processes and approvals, which
continued to be paper-based. Some departments had been resistant to change because with their individual needs they felt it was unlikely these could be met with new technology. However the university was seeking to take full advantage of the new P2P technologies on the market to bring its purchasing processes up to date and to bring the university in line with its innovative status as a very modern place of study.
