Xoomworks Procurement Consulting has great pleasure in announcing that our client, a leading European travel agency, has successfully launched the Coupa P2P solution in Germany as phase one of a European roll out. They recognised the need for a group wide e-procurement tool to take control of spend across their business and increase compliance.The client, one of the oldest and best known names in leisure travel, employs over 21,000 employees and operates from 15 source markets, serving over 23 million customers. Their key criterion was that any chosen solution would need to be rolled out rapidly across the entire group. They also recognised that ease of use, and high user adoption would be the key to realising their business case. For these reasons they selected the Coupa solution. The client signed Xooworks as their implementation partner in May 2015, after recognition of Xoomworks’ track record of successful Coupa rollouts across EMEA. Xoomworks completed the initial design and configuration of the Coupa solution, built the integration to SAP across two instances for UK and central Europe and then supported them through testing and go live in Germany. Xoomworks staff integrated with the client, working closely as part of a joint project team, leading to successful knowledge transfer, which has subsequently put the client in a position whereby they can manage further roll outs to remaining markets independently and with minimal support.
