Technical Consultant

Technical Consultants oversee Technical Analysts to build package solutions to fit client business needs. They have strong technical backgrounds and work with functional teams to ensure that all package solutions are built to communicate with existing client systems and meet client future needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical implementation
• Develop systems architecture of existing client systems
• Map current systems to package requirements
• Create prototypes
• Build system functionality
• System testing
• Ongoing system maintenance

Necessary Skills

• Technical degree required
• Understanding of object oriented programming and concepts
• Exposure to full software development lifecycle
• 1-2 years experience with package implementation or software development
• Understanding of web based applications and architecture
• Systems integration experience
• Preferred platforms / languages: Unix, Windows NT, Java, C++, Oracle, SQL SVR, DB2, HTML / XML
