BI Solution Architect

Skills & Experience

• At least 8 years experience with SAP Business Intelligence solutions (BW, BOE, EIM, EPM, etc)
• Deep knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)/Data Management/Data Quality Management tools
• Deep knowledge of current BI application architecture concepts, technologies, best practice and methodologies.
• Experience in Meta/Master data management, data mining, score-carding and EPM/CPM solutions such as advance consolidation, scenario planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Experience in successfully delivering business BI solutions into implementation within departmental and enterprise wide scenarios.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in order to be able to communicate technical solutions in non-technical terms with senior client stakeholders, drive selection and agreement of options, align business and technical teams and motivate delivery teams
• Experience in integration of Business Objects and/or BPC with SAP BW is a plus

• Transformation of solutions into delivery build phases of a project and support implementation and delivery from a solution expert perspective
• Ability to define innovative SAP solutions to our clients across all business sectors
• Ability to gather business requirements and design an SAP supported solution
• Undertaking pre-sales activities with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience with moderately complex SAP solutions with considerable customisation
• Hands-on experience with all aspects of application testing: unit, QA, integration, and performance.
• Ability to draft and execute test plans, and properly validate results.
• Ability to interact well with (and support) business users of the system
• Follow established processes, policies, and procedures for designing, developing, and implementing system solutions.
• Have the ability to maintain high productivity in a pressurised working environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willing to travel and be based on site at customer locations 4/5 days per week at any location in Europe
• Working from home – Virtual office concept when not on client site
