Malcolm Clark
Chief Executive Officer
Malcolm is the Chief Executive Officer of Xoomworks. Prior to founding Xoomworks, Malcolm was a partner with Deloitte Consulting, leading their Oracle practice and implementing systems solutions across a broad range of industries. In his role at Deloitte Consulting, Malcolm advised the Boards of some of the largest, fastest growing and most successful global companies on their information technology and business strategies and then ensured that these strategies were successfully implemented.
Prior to this, Malcolm established and grew several successful service organisations, lived in continental Europe for five years, and has held a number of senior financial management roles in both large and small organisations. He is a hands-on systems implementer and his pragmatic approach has ensured the success of a number of high-profile technology projects.
Malcolm qualified as a CIMA with Unilever after graduating top in his year at Warwick University Business School.
Steve Jackson
Chief Operating Officer
Steve is one of the co-founders of Xoomworks as well as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to founding Xoomworks, Steve worked for Braxton Associates as a Senior Strategy Consultant specialising in e-business and knowledge management, and developed a methodology for client engagements. Additionally, Steve provided strategy and technology insight to board level clients. Steve's previous experience includes IT project management for both Warner Bros. and Philips Electronics.
Through Steve's career, he has worked across multiple European countries, the US and Japan, and has an MBA from INSEAD.
Nic Hutchins
Managing Director
Nic joined Xoomworks in 2002 as the Sales Director with a focus on expanding the consulting business and establishing a new outsourcing services capability. In 2009 Nic was promoted to Managing Director and has full responsibility for Xoomworks Consulting and Outsourcing businesses in the UK and Romania. Prior to joining Xoomworks, Nic was Consulting Director at SAIC, the world’s largest employee owned technology company generating $6bn in annual revenues. At SAIC Nic was responsible for the development of new global practices delivering consulting services across key target industries. Much of his experience at SAIC was on establishing commercially innovative IT outsourcing projects and new lines of business using e-business technologies.
Prior to this, Nic was a Managing Consultant at Syntegra where he was part of a management team that established a new business consulting division, delivering strategic consulting services in parallel with systems integration and outsourcing services. Nic's experience has included many senior international consulting roles with Global 500 companies and medium sized organisations.
He has an honours degree from the University of Greenwich in Mechanical Engineering.
Anthony Baring
Finance Director
After gaining a degree in Economics, Anthony started his career in the computer games business with the US games company, Activision. He then moved to City software house, Digitus, where he provided consultancy on SME software systems to a wide range of clients in both the private and public sector. Anthony was headhunted by one of his clients, the leading literary and talent agency, PFD, to modernize their operations as CFO/CIO in 1989. In 1994 he became MD and ran the business successfully until 2005 taking it through a sale and subsequently running it under public ownership. Anthony brings extensive financial and general management experience to Xoomworks as well as specialist experience in business systems and media. Anthony enjoys solving problems and also has six children.
Jamie Holmes
Consulting Director
Jamie joined Xoomworks in 2000 as one of the first employees. As Consulting Director Jamie is responsible for the development of the Consulting Team and for managing a number of Xoomworks key customer accounts. At Xoomworks he has Project Managed the implementation of various technologies across a number of different industries; from e-Procurement systems for Financial Services companies to Bespoke Royalty Accounting software in the Entertainment Industry.
Prior to joining Xoomworks he was a Business Process Improvement consultant at PA Consulting and before that worked in Manufacturing for Coca-Cola where he was part of the factory Management team pumping out 3 million cans per day and also given the job of “Mr. Capri Sun”.
Jamie was sponsored through University (UMIST) by Metal Box (now Crown) where he studied Mechanical Engineering. At Metal Box he carried out a number of jobs in Engineering and Production; making Aerosol, Beverage and Food cans – you’d be surprised how interesting cans can be! Latterly he was part of the group wide initiative to implement World Class Manufacturing techniques to increase plant performance and flexibility.
